Scholarship means continuously learning. Members understand that simply getting good grades or getting through college is not enough. A member must be committed to constant development through life.

Alethia Scholarships through the Logos Fund can be used for general scholarships to undergraduate members.  Generally, applicants have demonstrated leadership potential and have been identified as being in need of financial support to complete their academic careers.

Many active chapters and colonies provide scholarships directly to their members.  This opportunity is possible through chapter designated accounts that are set up within the AKL Education Foundation.  Chapter alumni and friends are the primary support for  Chapter Designated Gifts. 

The AKL Education Foundation is in the early stages of creating a Mentor/Speaker program in which alumni can donate their time and expertise to provide programming to chapters and colonies across the country.  These alumni would provide leadership seminars/speaking, skills development training, and other educational opportunties to members.  The AKL Education Foundation would provide the travel and accomodation support to make this possible.

Staff Development directly supports the undergraduate members of Alpha Kappa Lambda.  Graduate education, continued education and conferences for staff provide the neccesary training and continued development needed to work with our chapters.  The annual appeal supports these activities.
