The AKL Education Foundation Annual Appeal

The AKL Education Foundation Annual appeal is a way to provide designated and undesignated general support to the Foundation's numerous activities.  This support helps the Foundation continue its operations, provide general scholarships and grants, and keep our donors and members informed of the opportunities with the Foundation.

The following designated programs are currently looking for donor support:

• Alethia Scholarships - Alethia Scholarships provide opportunities for undergraduate members to attend leadership development programs such as the Undergraduate Interfraternity Institute and Futuresquest.  The Foundation currently offers at least eight of these scholarships annually.
• AlcoholEdu - AlcoholEdu is an intense online alcohol education program provided by Outside the Classroom.  All new members of Alpha Kappa Lambda are required to complete the course as are many of our current members.  The Foundation provides a grant to the Fraternity specifically for this program.
• Lou Bacon Expansion Scholarships - The Lou Bacon Expansion Scholarship provides support to graduate students and undergraduate members that are currently assisiting the Fraternity in its expansion efforts.  Assistance can come in the form of finacial support for academic expenses, books and sometimes room/board.
