The 2008 biennial Conclave will be held in Birmingham, Alabama this summer starting on Thursday, July 31st, and ending on Sunday, August 3. All activities will be held at the Hilton Birmingham Perimeter Park.

The Fraternity's 50th Conclave will be filled with numerous activities, including educational sessions specifically for Alumni Advisors and Volunteers. Delegates will need to arrive at the hotel no later than 4:00 pm on Thursday, July 31. Participants can leave anytime on Sunday. A complimentary shuttle is available between the hotel and the Birmingham Airport. |

The biennial golf tournament will be held on Friday, Aug. 1 at a location to be determined. Proceeds from the tournament will benefit the AKL Loyalty Fund, which supports expansion, recruitment and Ritual activities of the Fraternity. |
| During the National President's Honors Banquet, the Fraternity will host an "AKL Sings Competition" and an "Undergraduate Update" from each chapter. |  |
