1. The Loyalty Fund - Phi Account
The Loyalty Fund was established by the Fraternity in 2006 to care for the assets of closed chapters and to provide recruitment, Ritual and other educational opportunities not supported by the AKL Education Foundation (Based on IRS Restrctions of Charitable entities).
The assets of these chapters are kept in individual Money Market Accounts and sometimes invested based on the Fraternity investment polices determined by the Budget and Finance Committee. All interest revenue generated from chapter specific accounts is split between the general fund and that chapter's fund. Any donations to this account are not tax-deductible.

2. The AKL Education Foundation - Phi Account
The AKL Education Foundation was established in 1985 for the purpose of charitable activities for AKL Members and the general public. Chapter Corporations can set up specific accounts within the Foundation for chapter designated gifts. All grants and scholarships issued by the AKL Education Foundation must meet specific IRS charitible activities guideline. Donations to the AKL Education Foundation are tax-deductible.
