Getting Involved

There are numerous opportunities for alumni to get involved with Alpha Kappa Lambda.

Volunteer with a Chapter

Alumni support and advising is critical to chapter success.  Undergraduates can use support in direction in all areas of Fraternity including, operations, financial managment, Ritual, conflict-resolution and academics.  The easiest way to be involved is to join the corporation board of your chapter or assist with the corporation board or as a chapter advisor to a chapter in your area.  All of our current chapters and colonies will welcome help but the following are positions we need filled:

• Alpha Lambda Chapter, Northern Illinois University - Chapter Advisor
• Beta Omicron Chapter, James Madison University - Advisor and Corporation Board
• Beta Chi Colony, George Mason University - Advisor and Corporation Board
• Beta Psi Chapter, Missouri State University - Chapter Advisor
• Gamma Zeta Chapter, University of Georgia - Corporation Board
• Gamma Iota Chapter, Eastern Michigan University - Chapter Advisor
• Gamma Lambda Chapter, Temple University - Corporation Board
• PA Delta Colony, Edinboro University of PA - Corporation Board
• TN Gamma Colony, Middle Tennessee State University - Corporation Board

Join an Alumni Club

Alumni Chapters have been formed all over the country to continue the bounds of brotherhood.  Take advantage of participating with one of the current chapters or starting a new one in your area.

Become a National Volunteer

National Volunteers help run our National events, sometimes are members of the National Executive Council, and can provide support on a campus with limited notice.  If you have any interest in such activities please contact our office.

Attend a National, Regional or Chapter Event

Every year AKL holds at least one National event whether its Conclave, a Leadership College, Presidents's Academy or a regional event.  Alumni are always invited and encourged to attend.  Check back to the online calendar regularly to see what activities are happening near you.
